The project is located in the Tieshan port (Linhai) Industrial Zone of Beihai City, would be constructed based on the idea of "Strengthening the leading role, Reinforcing the chain and Gathering the groups". It mainly uses the rich fast-growing forest resources and geographical advantages of Guangxi to develop the pulp and paper industry. The products of the project includes wood pulp, cultural paper, household paper and special paper.

The project is planned to cover an area of 3,693 mu, with total investment of 22.8 billion CNY. It is included in the major project of "Double Hundred and Double New" coordinated by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It will be constructed in two phases, with a total construction period of 4 years. The opening ceremony for the first phase of the project was done in October 2019. And it is expected to put into operation in September 2021. The project will adopt digitalization, intellectualization, intensification and other emerging technologies, to be built into a world class intelligent and intelligent park featuring ecological energy conservation, low-carbon and environmental protection. After full production, it is expected to achieve an annual revenue of 20 billion CNY and a total profit and tax of 3.5 billion CNY, directly creating 3,200 jobs and indirectly creating more than 20,000 jobs.

The gradual implementation of Beihai Project will enable the company to form the three production bases of Shandong, Laos and Guangxi, which will enable Sun Paper Industry to achieve the full coverage of the "One Belt and One Road" economic belt, the coastal and inland areas of the motherland, and make up for the shortage of the strategic location of the plant layout. The construction of the project will greatly enhance the comprehensive strength and core competitiveness of the sun paper industry, and strongly promote the construction of the company's "Hundred-Billion-Level Enterprise".
